Stein Mart haul

Today I went to my local Stein Mart. Well it's really not local. Anyways I bought some Vera Bradley. I will post what I got on my Instagram verachica, and a video haul on Monday on YouTube. I will post a link to my YouTube tomorrow. Here are some pics I took inside :)

Vera Bradley at Dillard's Discovery

This past weekend I decided after getting my haircut to go Dillard's and wait while my mom got done with hers. My first thing I went for is the Vera Bradley. Of course!!! Anyway I saw some retired Vera Bradley that really stood out. The store I went to, just got Vera Bradley a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised to see the retired patterns. I looked at a backpack in plum petals. The tag said Campus Backpack. I knew that was wrong. I told the sales associate and she said I was wrong. I had to get a Campus Backpack out and show her. She finally realized I was right. I also showed her three other items that had that. She said I must really know my Vera. The main thing I discovered was................

Ok so someone buys a backpack at let's say $75. They steal a campus backpack tag that says $109. At Dillard's you have to have a yellow sticker that shows your proof of purchase. They switch the tags and they place the yellow sticker on the new tag. When they return the backpack they get $109 back. That is a $34 profit. They are really making money. I told them that they should start paying attention to that at the return desk. I felt good that my Vera skills helped them. I also got a miller bag in Purple Punch for $35 and also another $60 bag for $30. I saved a lot. Keep your eyes out!!!

Review for Vera Bradley Little Hipster in English Rose

Hey guys, it's Verabradleychica. Last Thursday I was invited to my local Vera Bradley retailer's open house. They had two Vera Bradley contests going on. One was from the actual store and the other was the Two-way tote promotion. Anyways I looked around and they had the new Winter 2012 items on display. The lady who works there is often nice to me and she let me buy some Winter 2012 items a day early. Score!!! Last time when Fall 2012 came out, she sold me the new colors a day early. I wasn't suprised,but it was still nice. I decided my favorite print for Winter 2012 is English Rose. I love roses personally and I just love the color. I already loved the orignal hipster so I gave the little hipster a try. Alright so lets get inside the bag...

Key facts about the Little Hipster:

• The Little Hipster is not as big as the regular hipster
• The bag has the same crossbody design
• The bag has a built in "wallet" area that has credit card slots and money slots
• The inside has one zipper.
• The inside seems a little spacious
• There is an outside pocket that is a little bit big

I usually keep my cellphone inside the outside pocket. The only really thing I don't like about the bag, is the room. I am so used to carry everything inside my purse, but now I have to watch what I carry. Besides that I love the bag. I love the fact that I can just slip money and credit cards in the outside zipper compartment. I recomend this bag for anyone who wants a bigger bag than the mini hipster but still wants the same crossbody style. This bag is awesome for trips to an amusement park or shopping. I personally may buy more little hipsters in the future. :)
